Safety & verification
A safer way to find a partner
No platform can promise that every profile is perfect. What we can do is be honest about what has been checked, give you control over who sees you, and make it easy to act when something is wrong.
What our badges mean
A badge appears only after the check actually succeeds. It is never shown on trust, and it can expire.
The member entered a code we sent to their email address.
The member entered a code we sent to their mobile number.
Our team checked a degree certificate or marksheet. The document is encrypted, seen by authorised staff only, and deleted once checked.
Our team checked an appointment letter, payslip or company ID. Re-checked every 12 months.
The member sent a selfie with a daily code so we could confirm their photos are really them.
A government-ID check by a verification partner. We do not store your ID document. This check is coming soon.
A badge states what was checked, not that a person is trustworthy. Please still use your own judgement.
You stay in control
- Private photos. Keep any photo private and approve each request individually. You can take access back at any time.
- Contact details stay hidden. Your phone and email are never shown on your profile.
- Choose who can reach you. Control who sees your profile, photos, online status, and who can message or send interests.
- Pause, block, delete. Pause your profile when you need a break, block anyone, and delete your account with your data erased.
Staying safe
- Keep conversations on the platform at firstShare your phone number or email only when you feel comfortable, and only by choice. Messages that contain contact details are blocked in first messages and interests.
- Never send moneyNo genuine match will ask you for money, gifts, investments, crypto, or to pay a “customs fee”. If someone does, stop replying and report them.
- Never share OTPs, PINs or bank detailsWe will never ask for these in a message, and neither should anyone you meet here.
- Meet in public, tell familyFor a first meeting, choose a public place, tell a family member or friend where you are going, and arrange your own transport.
- Take your time to verifyLook for verified badges, ask questions, and speak by video before meeting. Be wary if someone avoids it or pushes you to move fast.
- Trust your instinctsIf something feels wrong, you can block or report a member in one tap. They are never told who reported them.
How we look after safety
- Every report goes to a human review queue. We do not automatically ban anyone based on an algorithm.
- We flag patterns such as repeated copy-pasted messages, requests for money and unusual sign-ins for our team to review.
- We tell you when your account is signed in from a new device, and you can turn on two-factor authentication.
- Private messages are not read by staff unless a member reports a specific message.
- Calls are never recorded.
Something wrong?
Use Report on any profile or message. If you feel unsafe or have been defrauded, contact your local police or the national cyber-crime helpline (1930 in India) as well.
